Heather Black - Owner, Designer, Artist

I began making jewelry over 20 years ago. At first it was a hobby to pass the time as a kid living in North Carolina. I gave jewelry away as gifts to my friends and family. I made it my profession in 2007 when I moved to Massachusetts. I sell my artisan jewelry on my website, at local craft and art fairs, and to family and friends.

I currently reside in West Springfield, MA with my very supportive boyfriend of 14 years, our Shih Tzu Ruby, and our tuxedo cat Arlo. I work out of my home based studio overlooking the Westfield River and Robinson State Park – lots of beautiful New England inspiration!

My Design Philosophy

Creating beautiful jewelry using premium, high quality materials is my obsession and passion. My style is chic and timeless. My goal when designing jewelry is to highlight the natural beauty of gemstones.

If you're looking for heirloom quality, artisan style jewelry you've come to the right place. Because I use precious metals and high grade gemstones, my jewelry will last for years to come.

I have over 10 years of experience buying and selling gemstones. I source all of my own materials used in my designs. I am currently enrolled in the Graduate Gemologist dipolma program at Gemological Institute of America.

I am a proud member of the Scantic River Artisans Group. We are a group of artisans specializing in creating fine art of all mediums. You can find our art displayed at local galleries and art shows.
